Our Lima food tour at night gives visitors a different perspective with an array of culinary options that light up the city as the sun goes down. We've done our best to select a variety of top restaurants in Lima that truly showcase the country’s cultural and culinary diversity.
This tour begins at an upscale restaurant and lounge that sits right on the beach. With spectacular views of Lima’s coastline, Cala is a spot you won’t soon forget. Here, a professional bartender will share the secrets to making the perfect Pisco Sour so that you can impress your friends when you get back home. After this refreshing cocktail, we’re off to the jungle as we take you to an award-winning Amazonian restaurant. Ámaz has been recognized for its lively and inviting design as well as its culinary creations by winning in the category of Best New Restaurant in Peru at the Summum Awards in 2013.
As far as tours in Lima go, this one is sure to amaze as you’re likely to taste an explosion of flavor like no other you've tried before. The next stop is a well-known classic among Lima locals, the prestigious Huaca Pucllana Restaurant, located within an archaeological complex with illuminated ruins dating back to 500 A.D.
Here you will enjoy a selection of Peruvian dishes and another pisco-based cocktail. The views and dishes are so irresistible at this stop that even Mick Jagger, Bill and Hillary Clinton and the King of Spain, among many others, have not dared to miss it during their travels to Peru. To wrap up the night, we’ll head to the bohemian Barranco district for dessert. Afterwards you will back to your comfortable hotel.

Enjoy dinner served in the main dining room from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. After dinner, you may retire early to your own cabana, or share your experience in the rainforest with other guests and interpreters, as you listen to the intriguing sounds of the jungle at night.

Ascending the first tower, 29 meters above the forest ground, you begin your encounter with the treetop realm. For more than a quarter of a mile, you will literally walk through the rainforest canopy on a suspension bridge network linking eight observation platforms. During this hour-and-a-half expedition, be on the lookout for colorful toucans, woodpeckers, trogons, monkeys, and sloths. Navigate your way back downstream, observing the abundant flora and fauna along the way. You will return to Gamitana Farm to do a short guided tour to see how local farmers grow fruits and vegetables. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, enjoy the Hacienda Concepcion excursion, with over 200 different plant species, and learn about the uses and benefits of local flora. This is followed by a 30 minute canoe trip to look for turtles, sun grebes, nightjars and exotic herons. Return to the lodge. Then consider the Rainforest by Night excursion through the Inkaterra Ecological Reserve at night for an approximately 2 hour excursion.
